Mr. Rippy graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1988, after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in 1984. Mr. Rippy also obtained his Master in Business Administration from Indiana University in 1992. Mr. Rippy also served as a Judge in Muncie, Indiana. Prior to co-founding this firm, he worked at Brown, McCarroll, Sheets and Crossfield, L.L.P. in Round Rock, Texas. Mr. Rippy was a member of the Harvard University Cross Country team, the Harvard Indoor Track Team and the Harvard Outdoor Track Team. He won numerous long distance races after completing his college career, including the Austin Half Marathon and the Round Rock Frontier Days 5K. Mr. Rippy is a member of the Georgetown Kiwanis Club. He is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in 2008 served as an expert commentator for ABC News regarding the FLDS/CPS case.
